I've been to O'Charley's twice for takeout both times, so I can't speak for a sit down dinner experience. Both times the food was okay, warm, but not hot and my steak which I admit I like rare was cold in the middle the first time and medium well the second time. Both times my takeout staff was friendly, but the wait was long even though I came a few minutes after the given time frame. All in all, having had the same mediocre experience on both tries; I'll be hitting up a different steakhouse next time, because when you're a dime a dozen, you can't afford to be average.

Had an especially great dining experience thanks to our server Sabrina! We had a couple of appetizers, one being fried pickles, nothing out of the ordinary & the spinach dip, which I have to say was pretty good! We ordered the prime rib dinner for two & up graded to 16oz. Servings for an additional $12. The portion size was more like 12oz. I didn't bother to complain... but would never order again & because our server was so wonderful I didn't want to ruin a nice dinner out in Charleston because it's a rare find! My biggest complaint over all was the moldy smell of the carpets in the restaurant. It's seems to be a common way for restaurant's to save money, as Olive Garden announced it no longer cleans their carpets on regular basis... Here is an idea get rid of the moldy carpets and be done with it!

I got the bayou shrimp pasta. It was full of shrimp, green and red peppers, onions and sauce.... excellent meal. I wish I had saved room for dessert. The server was friendly, prompt and took excellent care of us. Next time your here, ask for Russ. He was great!

Great food, great service. I ordered the cajun chicken pasta and my boyfriend ordered prime rib, they were both cooked perfect and tasted awesome. Bartender made a great drink.

Usually the food is very good, although the soups tend to be a it salty. The staff is always pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxed casual. Lunch takes about an hour, so it's not a spot for a "quick bite."

This was our first time at OCharleys. We were very pleased with both the service and the food. We had the prime rib special 2 for 25 and added the chips and queso which I highly recommend the wife ordered the mint brownie blast (pie) but was not bowled over by it.

Went on a Saturday night at 7p. Was told thirty min wait for two people, this I expected. But it only ended up be about fifteen. They were very busy and packed. I did expect this however. The waitress was at our table quickly for drink orders and our apps came out fast. Got the fried pickles bc I'm a sicker for a fried pickle chip. They were nicely breaded and just enough spice to tell. The old bay mayo was a nice match. I had the Louisiana sirlion. Really really good. Just wish it was so peppery. My boyfriend had the seafood trio. He loved it. Gushed over the fish. Again our food came out rather quick for being so busy. The pies are to die for. We tried the pecan and the French silk. Both delicious and ended up taking a while french silk pie home.

Service was slow and poor. Food was not as good as I have come accustomed to from them.

Food is good, but we've been waiting for quite some time for our food. Its not busy in here at the moment, so who knows that the deal is. Last time we saw our waitress was when we first got our drinks and ordered. Im beginning to think she fell into a black hole and emerged into an alternate universe where cats rule the world and humans are forced to excrete their waste into a bucket of rocks

I got the Caroline chicken yesterday. It didn't look anything like the picture. The meal was very rushed by my server. I spotted her on a smoke break wen I was leaving so that must have been the reason. I've also had an awful time in the bathroom all day today. I would not recommend eating here.

Service was very slow. Food was poor quality. The air temp was cold. There was absolutely nothing good about eating there. I've tried to give them a chance, but it's consistently bad. Don't eat there.

We went to dinner last night and when everything was good. Then they lost our ticket so had to redo it. So the manger gave us our order for free.

A nice place. Large, varied menu at expected steakhouse-esque prices. The 1+2 appetizer/entree combo for $20 is a good deal. Limited beer selection, but the tall drafts are reasonably priced. I've been to O'Charley's three times. I've had something different each time, but the one entree that stands out is the fish and chips. Yes, basic, but the fish is super crispy and tender on the inside; the fries are thick and generous. GIGANTIC portion. There is a bar area that can get busy during happy hour.

This was my first time eating at an O'Charley's. I was eager to try them. I was disappointed. They were very short staffed. I felt bad for the waiters/waitresses. Everything took forever it seemed. The restaurant's temperature was too cold. I walked toward the restrooms, and smelled like urine 25 feet away. The restroom was in shambles and stunk. Toilet unflushed. Water, paper on floor. When the food finally, came, it was not very good. My Cajun Chicken pasta dish tasted like it was out of a frozen box. I strongly suspect this is due to poor management. I'm not going back, and that's saying a lot for me, I'm quite forgiving. Might consider going back under new management. I'm guessing this place is going under soon unless new management is found. I'm sorry O'Charley's.
